Kaouding Cissoko uses the majestic kora (the 21-string harp-lute) to reveal the full spectrum of the ancient instrument's melody and timbre. Baaba Maal lends his voice to two tracks while backing musicians (inc Cisse Kanoute) from Cissoko's family add vocals, djembe, tama, acoustic bass, guitar and balafon.
